the way its come to pass

horrified by change and the

equilibrium of stagnation

some call it amazing this

magnificent marching against the current

abandoning security for the

rushing of waves and

the crushing of bones as our compatriots

engage in direct battle against the current

sharper minds know that abstract attacks are key

theoretical models of bloody battles

maintain faith, pride, and spirit

over time we learn to survive and

navigate the stream in our own direction

keeping the course that we have chosen

evolving as we survive

yes, tomorrow is another day
